Microsoft and Yahoo! Should they or Should they not?

Should Yahoo! let Microsoft buy them or not?

My opinion on this matter is NO!, Yahoo has so much to offer to people and is doing fine without help. From my own personal experience Microsoft do nothing but destroy things, their Operating Systems aren't all that good, (people mainly use it because of its vast compatibility options).

So what is everyones opinion on the matter? Should Microsoft buy it or not?

I agree. Yahoo! has much more to offer in terms of e-mail, search capabilities, and more. If Yahoo!'s stocks weren't sagging so much, then Microsoft couldn't even make an offer.

The problem is, that investors in Yahoo! see the declining stock as a warning sign, and that a merge with Microsoft might boost it. If Yahoo! does not accept the deal, then they have to somehow boost their profit margin in record time, or risk upsetting it's stocks even more.

Also, with Yahoo! and Microsoft merged together, they would create greater competition with Google, and give us, the consumers, better overall deals.

If there was someway Microsoft could actually buy Yahoo!, and NOT mutate it beyond recognition, everything would be perfect: investors' fears would be alleviated, we would all get better deals, and the economy might even look up because of it.
